Mission Statement:
White Technology strives to be the world leader in micropropagation and production of cellulosic energy crops, by developing and producing the most efficient commercial crop for converting solar energy into bio-energy. Concurrently; develop and produce reclamation crops that will contribute to cleaning up our environmental footprint.
Our Purpose:
White Technology wants to address specific global challenges in the power and chemical industries. We intend to provide renewable energy feedstocks from dedicated bioenergy/biomass crops; specifically sterile perennial grasses such as Giant Reed and Miscanthus giganteus. Our approach uses advanced plant biotechnology by way of micropropagation techniques that will represent the very best of renewable energy plants which in turn can create "green" products such as biopower, energy pellets, briquettes, bioplastics, and others.
History of White Technology, LLC:
White Technology, LLC is an affiliated company of H.B. White Investment. White Construction , another affiliate, was started in the 1940's with a single dump truck. Today, White Technology's parent company markets itself as an international leader in wind energy as well as in everything from highway to power plant construction. As a heavy industrial contractor, the addition of renewable energy projects to White's broad list of services was a natural development. From the interest and success with the wind energy market White Construction made the leap into biomass production and created White Technology, LLC. White Technology strives to be the world leader in the micropropagation of energy crops by developing the most efficient commercial perennial grass for converting solar energy into bio-energy. Through the years much has changed about White Construction; the values and family ownership have remained the same.
